Gundu Raju is a ninth gen puppet master whose expertise has been leveraged by museums and art historians. To witness his art today was such a joy! In fact, his son and his grandson have already been taking their family legacy forward, and it's heartening to see. The puppets themselves were vibrant and glorious! The tabla musician was great, too! Thanks to such new cultural spaces that I hope will continue to preserve India's breathtakingly diverse forms of art!

We attended the event conducted at JCAC. Altogether a wonderful experience. Very good efforts and contribution from each of team members. Event was a true blend of traditional culture entertainment and fun . If all the experience is made available to the tourists on their check list after sightseeing it will definitely add to their memory and large volume of people will be able to experience the culture of Mysore

Whenever I have guests visiting, I always talk about Mysuru's heritage and culture. It's something I take a lot of pride in. But until now, we've never really had a space that captures the essence of Mysore in one place that we could share with visitors from outside the state or the country.
In just two hours, this experience manages to bring together the sights, sounds, tastes, and textures of Mysuru. Its immersive, emotional, and rooted in everything that makes our city magical.
I'm genuinely proud of the team that's made this possible. Every Mysurean should experience it- and take others along to see, touch, hear, and taste the magic of Mysore. Highly recommended for both proud locals and curious visitors.

An evening (24th May 2025) where Mysuru's royal soul came alive—Signature of Mysuru by #ExperienceMysuru was a celebration of our living heritage at Jagannatha Centre for Arts & Culture. From the grounding touch of clay in pottery, the soothing scent of incense and nature, to the burst of flavours in local cuisine-every sense was stirred. Visual splendour unfolded in elegant Kathak and Bharatanatyam, folk dances, and vibrant art. Melodic strains of Carnatic music met the calm of yoga and meditation, while storytelling took us through timeless tales. Add to that the joy of desi games— it was culture in motion, tradition with a heartbeat. Deep gratitude to Sriranjani for inviting us to such a multi- sensory, soul-touching experience.

Mysuru's rich heritage and culture is showcased by young talented and skilled artists in Bharatanatyam, Chande, classical music and more... It was an amazing experience to revive the forgotten cultures of Mysuru.

Enjoyed the session last Friday. I had come with 2 girlfriends from Bangalore and was not disappointed. Mysore truly has a very rich culture. The program was very curated. Right from the games to the snacks and the cultural performance, all the programs were well done.
